How do you set a1992 ford festiva breather air flow setting.?
How many turns of the screw do you turn the setting on the breather housing on a1992 ford festiva breather air flow.I have never had an adjustment like this on a breather before Do you run it all the way in and then back it out.I think this monitors how much air flow goes into the fuel injection system This screw was tampered with when timing belt jumped time and they didn't know how to adjust it exactly after the new belt was installed. Does anyone know how to adjust this screw or where to find the answer to my question on the internet.Thanks
If you have a dvom you can back probe the thortle position sensor(tps). Using the 5 volts scale key on read the output volts of the tps they should be above .5 volts but below 1 volt at idle . If nothing else was touched and the timing is on this is a good cheaters way of adjusting it.
