How to install an air horn in a toyota tacoma 1999?
i have electric air horns that doesnt need an air compressor. I dont know where to horn wires are. all they do is replace the old horn. any help with just locating where the horn stuff will be is perfect! thanks hope this isnt confusing
the horns are usually located on the radiator support frame.if you look under your truck-in-between the front bumper and radiator support, they are usually located on either side ,sometimes both sides-if you have two-a low pitch and a high pitch . if your new horn only has one wire it is the positive wire and the horn mount will need to be attached to the metal body to get a ground.if it has two wires , you can attach it to any thing. hope this helps.also point them downward so water doesn't get in and freeze them up.
