Ancient Indian

The Indian culture varies similar to its enormous topography. People speak in diverse languages, dress in a different way, follow diverse religions, eat different food but are of the same spirit. So whether it is a cheerful occasion or a moment of sorrow, people involve themselves whole-heartedly, sharing the pleasure or pain. A festival or a party is never constrained to a family or a home. The complete society or neighborhood is drawn in bringing liveliness to an occasion. Similarly, an Indian marriage ceremony is a celebration of union, not only of the bride and groom, but also of two families, maybe cultures or belief too! Similarly, in times of grief, neighbors and friends play an important part in lessening out the grief.

Over the ages, India has experienced hundreds of years of foreign invasions and pressure, yet it still manages to attract and change everything the world cares to force on it, lasting at its core untouched. Even though India has reorganized to a great extent, old civilization and ancient cultural rhythms continue to have a strong hold over the performance of the nation.

Since very old times, the sacred land of India has displayed diverse hues of culture, religion, race, language, and so on. This multiplicity in race, culture, religion, etc., accounts for the survival of different cultural groups who, although, live within the sanctums of one single nation, and acknowledge different social habits and characteristics. Regional territories in India play an important role in differentiating these cultural groups, with their own social and cultural identities. The religions that are prevailing in the country are Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, Buddhism, and Jainism, with the freedom for citizens to live out any religion they want to.

Science
The international image of India is that of an upcoming and progressive nation. Ayurveda is a different form of medicine made purely of herbs and natural weeds, which can cure any disease of the world. Ayurveda has also been mentioned in the Ancient Indian epics like the Ramayana. Even today, when the western concept of medicine has reached its peak, there are people looking for substitute methods of treatment for its diverse qualities.

With increasing complexities in one's life these days, people are eternally looking for a medium through which they get some peace of mind. This is where another science, that of meditation and spirituality comes into the scene. Meditation and Yoga are identical with India and Indian spirituality. Meditation is one of the most essential components of Yoga, which is a mind-body therapy involving a sequence of exercises.
