Is dressing up as a Mormon at a costume party likely to offend anyone?
You know, the bit with the black pants, white shirt, tie and black badge? I think it would be funny and original. What do you think?
You should get someone else to go with you. Mormon missionaries always travel in pairs. I don't think it would offend most Mormons, but probably depends on which part of the country. Utah and NV they're pretty laid back. Down in the bible belt of TX some can be kind of uptight.
You should come up with something kewl to write on your name adge though. They usually say
Elder (last name) for the guy and Sister (last nae) for a female
Then a line and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
Your could be like Elder Sexy or Elder Smart Ass and come up with a fun church name. Oh, carry a bible and/or a book of Mormon too. Most wear backpacks and helmets if they have to ride a bike.
Hey if you were Elder STud or Sex God you could carry the Karma Sutra instead of a bible.
