I need to make a adapter plate to allow a newer seat to bolt to the original tracks off an older seat?
I own a 1987 Ford Bronco II the front seats are shot. I have two front seats out of an 1998 Ford escort. The problem I am having is the bolt pattern of the newer seats do not match.
I need to make an adaptor plate to allow the escort seat to bolt to the tracks off Bronco II seat. How thick of a piece of steel or aluminun do I need to use to be saft
Here's what I did but this was when I was 17 yrs old and fearless....( and new it all )
I used an old stop sign...
I wouldn't use aluminum. Steel is better.
3mm ? give or take..
