what is on the Cooper Union School of Art home test?
I'm a high school senior, and i am debating on applying to Cooper Union for fine art. i was wondering what the prompts were (fall 2008) ...has anyone taken it? how intense is it?
The Cooper Union hometest consists of 6 problems where you have to draw or represent. Then they give you 10 questions for education history, interests, hobbies etc. I already handed my test in for Early Decision and overall, it wasn't that hard because I had fun doing it. I had alot of thoughts and had to change the test countless times but in the end it pays off...
Are you applying to Cooper? my advice is to APPLY whether you get in or not...and try to get Early Decision because you would have more than one chance of getting in a highly competitive and reputable school.
For the hometest, try to do something different, try something crafty and interactive for the judges...If you see other people's hometest, don't get discourage because everyone's different in their way...
