Need help, willing to spend 6k on a car, builing a street/performance car?
I want to spend about 6grand on a car, and just spend money and make it nice, decal,body kits, interior, performance, the whole 9 yards...
How can i choose the right car, i like sports 2 doors like a scion tc, 350z, or a eclipse?
Were should i start to find a good car that i can make look nice and run well?
Mustang GT. Will have a V8 with more power than your other selections right from the start. Lots of aftermarket performance parts for the Mustang GT.
A 2001 or 2002 Mustang GT is in your price range. This will have the 4.6L V8.

Quarter mile in 14.5 seconds @ 99 mph
In comparison a 2005 Scion Tc will cost you about $9250. $3000 over your budget.
This more expensive Scion is much slower than the Mustang

Quarter mile in 15.7 seconds @ 88.2 MPH
How much more money will you need to spend on the Scion to make it as fast as the Mustang GT. More than a few thousand dollars.
Now consider this. Take the $3000 in performance mods that you would have spent on the Scion and put this into the Mustang. The Mustang will be down into the low 12's. Something the Scion would never see.
