tiny bit confused. How do the radiator get air on a 1993-2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am without a grill?
Every front engine car I know has a grill with openings so air can get to the radiator but the 1993-2002 Trans Am don't. So how does the radiator stay cool with no air flowing through it?
The same way the previous generation got air, from underneath. There's a big plastic air dam underneath the radiator support that directs air up into the radiator and condenser.
BTW, there are PLENTY of cars that done have front grilles to allow air to hit the front of the radiator(my 89 Trans Am and C5 'vette being two).
