Running JavaScript in child window - How to enable?
I am running Internet Explorer 7. I am viewing a web site with frames. The site is using Javascript and it is running as expected. This home page has a button on the navigator bar which opens a child page; this child page uses JavaScript to allow the user to provide feedback using an HTML form. The form comes up correctly, but the text that Javascipt is supposed to display does not show up. I confirmed that JavaScript was enabled. The form works correctly on my other computer that uses Internet Explorer 6.
What security setting needs to be changed for JavaScript to run on children pages?
If it's your site, all your users will have the same problem with IE7. anything you do is just for you. It's time to rethink frames!
If it's a site you are visiting, you could change the security settings to the lowest setting, or just http://getfirefox.com for a browser that doesn't implement Microsoft's latest idea on security.
