Merriman Takes Charge
Speaking of Tila, she is being sued by San Diego Chargers star Shawne Merriman. Tila took him to court on charges that he beat her and held her against her will at his home in San Diego. The case was dropped due to insufficient evidence. He is now claiming that Tila's lawsuit prevented him from landing a deal with Walmart to sell his t-shirts. He's also suing for copyright infringement stating that Tila used his logo "Lights Out" on her website.

Hollywood seems to be having its share of burglaries at the homes of celebs like Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom and many others. Now Nikki Hilton's home has been robbed. There was distant footage shot at Orlando's house depicting a group of people involved in the robbery that looked mostly like young, physically fit people from behind. Phew- I was afraid Nicolas Cage was involved considering the amount of debt he's in along with the fact that his wife is currently filing suit against him!
Famous Stamos
A couple tried to extort $680,000 from John Stamos by threatening to release photos of him that were taken at a party. Scott Sippola and Allison Cross were arrested at an airport in Michigan. They were expecting to receive the money from one of Stamos' people but they met an FBI agent instead. Evidently, the pictures were nothing for John to be concerned about in the first place. The photos of John posing with some fans will be released for everyone to see once the hearing is over.
Bruno Causing Problems Again
Ayman Abu Aita is suing for $110 million because he claimed that his appearance in the Sacha Baron Cohen film Bruno ruined his life. He also blames the tarnishing of his image on Cohen's promotion of the film on the David Letterman show where Cohen said Ayman was a terrorist in the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade. Ayman is Palestinian, a businessman and self-proclaimed family man. He is not only suing Cohen, he's also filing suit against Larry Charles Wengrod, the director of Bruno as well as Letterman, NBC, CBS, Gannet Company and Worldwide Pants.
