Rapping air filter intake tube reduce heat?
I know that wrapping header pipes keeps the heat in the pipes and out the exhaust=cooler engine compartment. But if you wrap the intake pipe from the filter to the engine would it reduce the outside engine heat getting inside the tube?
The piping must go over the engine, anyother way would atleast double the distance and have unnecessary bends.
just get the filter out in the open air and you will be fine, get it out of the engine compartment, add extra piping if you have to.
