Help me choose a subwoofer?
Here's my setup, I have an Alpine CDA-9886 head unit, and I have the OEM premium Moonsoon speakers that came with my 01 Jetta GLX. Those two sound pretty good together, but I want a much deeper, cleaner bass. Here's the thing, I don't go around bumping trying to wake up the neighborhood. I don't listen to much rap, mostly electronic music, and I usually keep my volume at moderate levels, never very loud. I just want a nice clean sounding bass. So don't recommend something for a guy who wants cruise around with a 50Cent album at full blast in order to turn heads. I rarely turn my music up really loud.
i think a decent pair of 10s should get what your looking for, 10s tend to be the pretty crisp sounding, i would recommend dayton quartos

they have great sound quality and they're relatively cheap for what you get. i would also recommend a sealed box and a 400 watt RMS amp and you should be good to go.
