What kind of engine does a 2003 lancer oz rally have?
is it possible to swap my engine out for a 4g63t from an eclipse gst FWD
You have a 4G94 2.0L Non-Turbo Engine which is really weak. And NO, you cannot just easily swap a 4G63T engine from an Eclipse GST. Its possible. But its going to cost you your arm and leg. Its not drop and in go like what you see. The engine is also 180 degrees flipped. If you google both engine bays, you will see. You will need new harness, ecu, engine mounts, custom fabrications done and transmission. So overall, its possible if you have enough money to buy an actual Evo 8/9, but its not worth it at the end. You will have problems and weird sounds and CEL turning on all the time. Swaps are never tend to drive perfect all the time.
