What can I do to get more Horsepower out of my 98 Mustang GT and make it sound more aggressive? cheap solution?
I own a 1998 Mustang GT - it has a 4.6L V8. The only mods I have done to it is put Flowmaster mufflers on it. (American thunder edition). It sounds much better that stock, but I would like to get a deeper more throaty sound out of it.
What can I add to the engine/intake to make it sound very aggressive and bad? (cams, x/h pipes, etc)
Please give me cost-effective solutions that won't cost thousands of dollars. I'm looking for the most bang for the buck. How much would it all cost? I live in Metro-Detroit if any of you know a place locally that gives good deals and quality.
I'm pretty sure the 98 GT had 225 base rwhp, not 215... but I'm nit picking now - but hey! it's 10 horses!
A good set of headers and aftermarket X-pipe Would be a fairly cost effective mod. It would answer your need for the sound and power. When you start doing things like Cams and head swaps your talking big bucks and extensive modifications including a tune. The cost would be very depedant apon how much your willing to do youself.
