Suggestions on how to get spilled melted candle wax out of brand new upholstry?
I recently spilled melted candle wax all over my mother-in-law's brand new couch and I feel terrible. I've tried melting it with a hair dryer, I've tried putting ice cubes on it, I've tried scraping it off and this has led to the material starting to tear and discolor. Any suggestions??
it's not on the cusion. It's on the arm, so I can't flip it over. I've tried the iron thing, it didnt do anything. how long does the iron have to be on there for?

and color of the wax along with the type of fabric need to be taken into consideration, also if the fabric can take the heat from an iron will determine how much the stain will show. I believe all the suggestions regarding applying heat are the most well known tips. A suggestion if none of these work, purchase a very soft fringed throw in the same or contrasting color and casually drape over the arm.
