Nissan 350z nismo question:?
Why do some nissan 350z nismos have a FAIRLADY Z on the rear left side and a NISMO logo on the right while others have a 350Z logo on the rear left and NISMO logo on the left? What is the difference between a fairlady z logo and a 350z log on the nismos? They are both nismos.
The Z (now the 370Z) is called the Fairlady Z in Japan. If you see a Fairlady Z emblem on a Z here in the states, it is most likely they just bought the emblem for that JDM look that was mentioned above. If it is right-hand drive, then it is a true Fairlady Z.
I also want to point out that the Infiniti G (now the G37) is STILL the Nissan Skyline in Japan, and they do not have different engines. Maybe slightly different numbers, but both U.S. Infiniti G and Japan Nissan Skyline have the VQ engine (now the VQ37).
