Your friends at Ghost Riders Leather would like to invite you to attend one huge biker party if you live anywhere around the Carolina's. This 10-year event is called Smoke Out and it goes down May 15-16, 2009 at the Rockingham, NC Dragstrip.

Promoters claim the 10th Anniversary Smoke Out will be the most entertaining chopper event ever...period. There will be live music, a chop off, XS Speed's mini bike races, roller derby, vendors, drag racing, and anything else they can think of between now and then.

Another unique thing about this years Smoke Out is that it is the conclusion of a 2,000 mile motorcycle ride called, The Long Road. You can follow details about this conclusion over the web at www.SmokeOutRally.com.

This years band line up is The Kings Of Hell, Uncle Scratch's Gospel Revival, Jasmine Cain and Blackberry Smoke. Promoters think highly of the Southern Rock style band Blackberry Smoke. The band does both covers and originals, but it is Southern Rock the way it is supposed to sound.

One of this years vendors traveling from Johnson City, Tn. is Ghost Riders Leather. This company will provide a public display of quality, but affordable, motorcycle leather apparel. Come out May 15-16, 2009 and enjoy the best biker party in North Carolina. Join us at the Rockingham Dragway located in Rockingham, NC. The track is located at the intersection of US Hwy 1 and Hwy 177. This event draws from the Winston Salem, Greensboro, Durham, Raleigh, Charlotte, Fayettville areas.

Gates open to the public at 4PM Friday and goes to 11PM. Saturdays events open at 10AM and runs to 11PM. The promoters are going to mint a commemorative poker chip and have one free at the gate while supplies last. (3,000 chips). If you pre-register they will also have a commemorative poker chip for you at the gate, while they last.

The Rockingham Dragway has a limited amount of RV's and trailer parking spots available. Reservations for RV camping need to be made directly with the folks at the Rockingham Dragway. The phone number is 910-582-3400. Tent campers should NOT contact the Dragstrip. Reservations for tent camping can be made at the gate.

The Smoke Out provides 45 acres of land to pitch tents at the Rockingham Dragway. You will be able to take one vehicle into the campground as long as you are not going in and out with it. There is parking available outside the campground for people that want the car or truck available to run errands during the day. Parking is also available for cars at the back parking lot.

Every person pays to camp through Sunday morning. Arrive Thursday camping is $40. Arrive Friday camping is $30. Arrive Saturday camping is $20.
