Is it possible to fit any racing seats on 2000-2005 jeep wrangler 2dr such as recaro? racing buckets?

if not what kind of seats can you put on there do you need specific type of brand that will fit with jeep?

Yes, absolutely.

One of the great things about Wranglers (any year) is that they can take most any seat with only adapters or slight modifications. I put power heated leather seats out of a Volvo 960 into my Wrangler. These things are very comfy and even though I have a competent trail rig, I have not spared comfort. The adapters were easily fabricated to fit on the stock risers and it's unique because how many wranglers have you seen with power heated leather? When wheeling in heavy mud without doors or a top, I cover the seats with waterproof Wet Okole skins and let the mud fly.

Of the many Jeep parts sites out there, there are two that stand above most others for quality, availability, pricing and support. These are quadratec and 4wheel parts wholesalers.

Smittybuilt and Mastercraft make several different models of seats that work well, but I went the junkyard route and have been very happy with my choice. Typically speaking it is so very easy to fabricate or have somebody make custom brackets for you. Because you can find great bargains at wrecking yards/ parts recycling yards, this is the route I would take again.

If for whatever reason you want to buy new and as close to a direct fit as possible, I've included two links that will take you directly to Wrangler seat upgrades.

Keep in mind that the so-called off-road seats are nice, but if you aren't strapped in with a 4 or 5 point harness, they can be rough on the bottom when you are doing more hardcore wheeling.

If I were you, I'd sit in a few different factory seats and find one that you like, then search out that seat from a salvage yard. (Try sporty models of Acura, VW, Audi for Recaro type seats.) You will not only find the seat that you like most, but you can save yourself serious cash as well.
