How do you paint on a shiny, reflective metal surface?
I have a Razor V9m Bronze phone.
Recently, the paint on the battery cover has all peeled away, leaving a shiny SILVER surface... This looks very bad because most of the phone is a bronze color, and now, instead of a black battery cover, i have a shiny silver one... I want to repaint it black.
How do i prepare the battery cover for receiving paint?

This is a picture of a chrome wii - the back plate is pretty much the same kind of chrome.

take a fine grit emery board or sandpaper to it. you just need to buff it up a bit so the paint will adhere to it. if it's to slick the paint will just peel off again. use enamel paint. be sure to get the right finish (gloss or matte), that matches your phone. you can find small bottles used for painting model cars/airplanes at a hobby shop or craft store.
