Replacement Air Conditioner Cord?
We have a Kenmore air conditioner and the cord has gone bad as of today (and it's supposed to reach abourt 115 with the heat index). Anyone know if there is such a thing as an universal cord for something like that without having to call and order one? I'm at work right now so don't have the time to call so thought I'd ask you smart people out there. Thanks!!
You can get a replacement cord at most hardware stores.
Just make sure you tell them what you are using it for so they provide you with a heavy enough gauge wire to handle the load of an A/C unit.
You may want to take the old one off first so you can take it with you to match the cord gauge.
