Who do I complain to about a filthy hotel I stayed at in Hale Cheshire UK?
I have tried ringing their head office and the hotel mamager but they just keep fobbing me off. I have video evidence of the filthy conditions we stayed in, and it wasnt cheap either!
But I just dont know who to complain to, there must be a higher authority.
I don't know which Hotel you mean, but I live in Sale, Cheshire which is only about 3 miles away. If it was really bad why dont you register a complaint with the Environmental Health Dept of the local council. Their number is 0161 912 4916.
In our local council services booklet (Trafford Council) it says that the Env. Health Dept is for advice on matters of public health, food standards and safety, infectious diseases, health and safety at work.
If it's not their department, I'm sure they will be able to advise you where to contact.
