Have you had better luck with a water sealant or semi transparent stain for your fence?
we are using 5/8" x 6" x 6' ACQ Dog-Ear Wood Fence Board that is pressure treated
Cuprinol available at Sherwin Williams is the best..You can either of the choices above..You can get a clear sealer in Cuprinol or you can get it semi transparent stained, and of course has the sealer in it too..DO NOT USE THOMPSONS WATER SEAL OR AN EQUIVELENT PRODUCT..it is the worse thing you can do to a fence...It will not retreat properly, where cuprinol you can retreat it as you want without changing of color etc...Here is some info on cuprinol...
This is a UK site but sherwin Williams handles this in the states..You can apply this with a common bug sprayer that has a adjustable tip..or you can roll it on..rolling it on does not get inbetween the panels properly though..An airless sprayer on low pressure is the best, but for the home doer, it may not be cost effective to buy one..
