K&N Cone-style Filter, Won't Absorb Oil?
My car came with a cone style p-flow K&N air intake. I figured I should go ahead and clean it, but afterwords it seems to have not absorbed any of the oil, because the filter remains a dark color and upon touching it the red oil is transferred to my finger tips...Use more oil? Buy another?
Did you clean it with correct cleaner? Did you let it air dry? Doesn't take much oil to get enough oil on it.
