Which is safer? A small car or a small truck?
A little car (like a ford focus or subaru legacy), or a small pickup truck?
And why is that type of car safer?
I've been having an arguement with a friend over this and I want to know who's right.
I don't know about crash test ratings, but seeing as a small truck has no weight over the rear wheels (the drive wheels) they tend to lose traction and slide around alot. So, as much as it pains me to say this, a small car is probably safer as far as avoiding wrecks. But its hard to beat a good small truck (like a tacoma) when it comes to surviving a wreck.
