Body has 200,000 miles on it
Mechanic bought it off a customer; originally had 200k head gasket blew. Had cracked windshield; replaced windshield. Had a fender ding and replaced fender. Had it sprayed at MAACO (EEWwi know)
mechanic rebuilt engine with new head gasket, now has 70k.
selling for $3500.
What do you guys think? I don't wanna buy a car where I have to replace axles, exhaust pipes, and other undercarriage in a few months. Lemon or no?
a problem with this car is the mileage in the relatively short time span of 7 years which at 12,000 a year averages at 94,000 and even say 14,000 average this is way above your typical driver however hondas are very reliable cars check the service records check the transmission fluid as this can be a very costly problem, consider getting it expected by another mechanic if everything checks out this is a steal at this price as a honda can typically last well after 300,000 miles as well the price for 4 cylinder cars has increased, even at 3,000 a small amount invested and well you break even regardless =]
